A big congratulations to Duchess Flux for being chosen for the Blogger Spotlight for December!  Duchess is a blogger we look up to, someone we admire.  She is creative in every picture, her mind runs like a storybook when she is blogging.  Many pictures, including this one could be a picture on the wall - and would make one heck of a jig-saw!

We asked Duchess a few questions.  Here is what she had to say:

What style do you enjoy most blogging?
Fantasy/Fairytale
 
How did you get your start in blogging?
This was so long ago...but, I believe I began by just taking pictures and playing around at Fantasy Faire.   Soon after I started posting images, I was asked to blog by an event called Designers United and was immediately hooked.

Any other advice or wisdom you would like to share with our readers?
I love images that illustrate or tell a story and take the viewer on a visual journey.  I wouldn't say I achieve this all the time, but, I do make the effort.  There are so many amazing artists out there with their own unique style like Kynne Llewellyn, SugarFairy88, Clau Dagger, Mery M... and so many others; especially artists that call the Ippos Collective home.  Each have a unique way to tell their story and I just love that.  So, I guess my advice would be to play around and let a story develop so that the image is visually interesting.  Let your soul shine, don't be afraid of color, create your own unique style and don't be afraid to let it grow.  Most of all, have fun.  Once it ceases to be fun, it is work....

What is your favorite holiday and why?
Spring Equinox.  I relish the rebirth of the earth and the explosion of soft colors...and, the air is filled with love.
